Longer than I can be bothered to remember, I have been utterly smittened by the sheer fantastical variety of beasts and creatures out there in this vast unknown world. When I was young, I desired to become an adventurer for the guild, so that I may be able to encounter these creatures in person. However, that selfish dream was not meant to be and came crashing down upon me as I crossed over into adulthood and realized my noblesse oblige.

It was to my luck that during my studies I discovered, within the archives of the great Scholarly Republic of Aquae, the long lost manuscripts of the great adventurer, historian, and scholar, Ferri von Aquae. Although not much is known about the legendary man himself, he has left behind many famous and groundbreaking works of both the scientific and philosophical variety that has no doubt propelled this great republic into the prosperous place it is now.

I have taken great personal liberties to restore his ancient manuscripts, as well as his personal travel journal that comprises all the entries within this bestiary.
